Essem Design uses EPDs as a foundation for its continued sustainability work
Essem Design wanted to gain a better understanding of the environmental impact of its products and create a credible foundation for its continued sustainability work. Together, we developed EPDs that make the products’ environmental performance transparent and provide Essem Design with environmental data to use both in its communication and in its ongoing sustainability efforts.
When do you need an EPD?
An EPD becomes relevant when you need to communicate environmental performance in a standardized and transparent way. The need often comes from customers, procurement requirements, or the market – but also from the need to compare and communicate environmental performance.
